We are seeking a detail-oriented and experience Senior Staff Accountant to join our Finance Team. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of bookkeeping and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The salary for this role is $65,000 - $70,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
    • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close reports.
    • Maintain general ledger accuracy and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
    • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and trends, and provide actionable insights.
    • Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
    • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and financial reporting efficiency.
    • Ability to follow the A/R collections process and work with other team members to follow up on payment issues and outstanding balances.
    • Ability to follow strict communication guidelines
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Preferred). Will accept experience.
    • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a small business with high transaction volume
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
    • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
