Job Description: The Senior Staff Accountant reports to the Controller and is responsible for various accounting functions. The role requires leadership, technical expertise, and results-driven performance. It is a key position interacting regularly with executive management.

Essential Functions:

1. Execute departmental goals, including daily tasks, strategic initiatives, and process improvements.
2. Participate in month-end close, review, and analysis of financials.
3. Review monthly financials for accuracy and completeness.
4. Prepare and review internal and external financial reports and analyses.
5. Provide coaching and development for team members.
6. Coordinate month-end reconciliations and financial reporting.
7. Assist in capital budgeting and expenditure planning.
8. Evaluate financial performance against plans and forecasts.
9. Assist with partnership tax returns and K1 preparation.
10. Collaborate with external auditors and provide required deliverables.
11. Research complex accounting issues, document positions, and develop policies.
12. Identify and implement process improvements.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge (e.g., business combinations, revenue recognition).
