What You’ll Do:
The Senior Staff Accountant is a key member of the core accounting team. This position requires a strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for performing balance sheet, revenue and expense reconciliations as well as timely filing of sales and use tax returns in multiple jurisdictions.

• Perform complex accounting transactions, account reconciliations, financial reporting, general ledger entries, etc.
• Perform a reconciliation of the cash accounts, including reconciliation of ACH and wire transactions.
• Accounting for fixed assets (acquisition through disposal), including recording/amortization of debt notes and monthly depreciation.
• Prepare month-end financial reports and schedules, variance analysis of balance sheet and P&L accounts, various tax and audit schedules, special projects, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Assist in monthly close process, preparing journal entries for posting to the general ledger.
• Prepare various multi-state tax filings as well as various other reporting requirements as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required in the field of finance, accounting or business.
• 3+ years of accounting experience required; multiple company/entity experience preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Experience with Procede software a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Must be detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with increasing levels of difficulty.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
• Experience in the lease/rental industry a plus.

Compensation:

• $38-$43/hourly depending on experience and qualifications.
• Full-time position.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to pass post-offer drug test and physical.
