Title: Senior Staff Accountant

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Work Model: Hybrid; 3 days onsite

Pay: $75-85K + BONUS & EQUITY

Our client, a fast-growth, SaaS tech company is looking to bring in a Senior Staff Accountant to their expanding team. They are seeking a self-starter with a proactive mindset, prior hands-on GL accounting experience, and CPA tracking. If that sounds like you, we want to know you!

You will join a solid Accounting team, reporting to the Controller and gain exposure to all aspects of the accounting cycle, including AR, AP and GL functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and support day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal controls and accounting procedures, with attention to process efficiency and scalability.
• Contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support compliance with tax requirements, including sales tax and VAT/GST, in coordination with internal teams and external advisors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data.
• Assist with external audits by preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and helping implement control-related recommendations.
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses to support business operations and continuous improvement efforts.
  
  

About You

Ready to jump in, fire in the belly, ambitious, with a solid, developing in the fundamentals of Accounting. Open to take on the basics while learning the complexities. You have your Bachelors in Accounting and plan on obtaining your CPA. And, you want to be a part of this super-charged period as the company expands its customer base and launches an aggressive strategic growth plan.
