We require a BS in Accounting with 4+ years of experience, and proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with a proactive attitude and the ability to collaborate with sales and service operations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting from an accredited college required.
• 4+ years broad range of accounting experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and produce financial statements and reports on time.
• Collaborate with sales and service ops to ensure accurate accounting transactions; build budgets and forecasts for operations and special projects.
• Operate QuickBooks and interface transactions with Salesforce; support inventory control and monthly counts.
• Oversee AP and assist with procurement, logistics, and supplier interactions.
• Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures; support system implementations and process improvements.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and coordinate with CPA for tax tasks as needed.
• Support office operations and various projects within the team.

Role Description

The Senior Staff Accountant will fulfill a critical role for our rapidly growing company within our dedicated accounting team. This position will be primarily responsible for cost management on AP accounts, expenses accounts, month-end close, and assist for analysis of Cashflow, and fully charge of AP, other functions within the accounting department. This role will be based in Livermore, CA.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work with manager to take responsibility of all aspects of month-end process, able to meet deadline & prepare financial statement and other financial reports in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with sales and service operations team to ensure smooth accounting transactions and provide best support as needed. Building budgets, forecasting for operations team as well as special projects.
• Work with other accountants to fully execute QuickBooks functions in supporting sales and service operations, facilitate the interface transaction to Salesforce.
• Support inventory control, facilitate monthly inventory count activities with service and accounting staff.
• Full charge of AP & work with Inventory logistic management and procurement PO, provide guidance and assistance to accounting staff.
• Work with managers to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures. Assist in system implementation and enhancing accounting procedures.
• Work on the monthly bank reconciliations.
• Work with CPA firm on TAX Task as need.
• Assist with office and team operations in other areas and in various projects.

Qualifications

B.S. in Accounting from an accredited college required. 4+ years Broad range of accounting experience with increasing responsibilities.

• Intermediate to advanced level Excel preferred. Audit background preferred
• QuickBooks experience,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks
• Excellent analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
