The Senior Accountant will support the executive leadership team by managing the general ledger, directing the month-end close process, and overseeing related accounting activities. This role requires independence, adherence to deadlines, and the ability to work closely with the CEO, CFO, and Controller.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Self-motivated and driven to improve processes
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods
• Occasionally may need to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, small equipment)

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, including posting journal entries
• Conduct bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Prepare financial statements
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Analyze cost accounting reports and highlight areas for improvement
• Formulate financial models for strategic initiatives
• Compile reports for long-term planning by the executive team
• Improve departmental processes and manage special projects for the CEO and CFO

Job Role: The Senior Accountant will support the executive leadership team by managing the general ledger, directing the month-end close process, and overseeing other related accounting processes. Preferences:
