Job summary

CFS in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to help broaden exposure across financial reporting, budgeting, and nonprofit healthcare accounting. You will join a stable, collaborative Accounting & Finance team and contribute to a long-tenured organization with strong employee benefits.

Responsibilities include month-end close, journal entries, financial statements, budgeting support, and nonprofit filings such as Form 990.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience; Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required.
• Healthcare or health system accounting experience preferred.
• Exposure to cost reports and healthcare reimbursement terminology preferred.
• Experience with contractual valuation/accounting preferred.

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations during month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements and related reporting.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process.
• Support both revenue and expense accounting activities.
• Prepare and file federal and state nonprofit forms, including Form 990 filings.
