Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join a stable accounting team in Wisconsin. The role focuses on managing revenue and expenses, month-end close, and financial reporting including journal entries and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years of accounting experience in healthcare or related sectors and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Proficiency with Microsoft Great Plains and Excel is expected to support budgeting and nonprofit

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a healthcare system; candidates with relevant dental or other industry experience may also be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, and exposure to healthcare cost reports and/or contractual accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting activities across both the revenue and expense sides of the organization.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide financial information to support planning.
• Prepare required federal and state nonprofit filings, including Form 990 and Wisconsin nonprofit filings.
• Support accounting operations and financial reporting using Microsoft Great Plains and Excel.
