Quivera Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) for a full-time role in Albany, GA. The SSHO will enforce safety, health, and environmental requirements across construction projects and coordinate with project leadership to mitigate risks and promote a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications include at least five years in construction safety, USACE experience, and thorough knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of construction safety experience.
• Must have U.S Corps of Engineers experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of EM 385-1-1, OSHA 29 CFR 1926, and construction safety best practices.
• Ability to interpret safety regulations, construction plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsabilités

• Implement and enforce the project-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP).
• Ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA regulations, contract requirements, and applicable safety standards.
• Promote a strong safety culture on the project site and ensure understanding of safety requirements by all workers.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and document findings; identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain Daily Safety Reports and other safety documentation; support investigations and corrective actions.
