Job summary

Bryan Construction Inc is seeking a Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) to implement and enforce the project’s Safety and Health Plan on federal construction projects, ensuring compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA, and all applicable safety standards. You will lead daily inspections, correct hazards, and coordinate with USACE, subcontractors, and project management to maintain a safe, compliant site.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour training completed.
• 5+ years of cumulative safety experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining safety programs.
• First aid/CPR certification.
• Competent person in at least 3 relevant OSHA areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site safety inspections and correct hazards.
• Develop and maintain safety plans and records.
• Coordinate safety trainings and toolbox talks.
• Liaise with USACE and subcontractors on safety matters.
• Oversee incident investigations and corrective actions.
