Job summary

Plenful is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to keep production systems reliable, performant, and scalable as we grow. This role emphasizes operating real systems at scale, defining reliability standards, and owning production health in a hybrid environment.

You’ll work with backend, data, and ML engineers to ensure high availability, measurable performance, and continuous improvement through incident response, SLO design, and system optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering or production infrastructure.
• Experience operating distributed systems in production.
• Hands-on with observability tooling and incident response.
• Familiar with AWS, serverless and container-based architectures, and relational databases like PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets across core services.
• Own production system health: uptime, latency, and availability targets.
• Improve system resilience and reduce MTTR through automation.
• Lead incident triage, mitigation, and blameless postmortems.
• Design and evolve observability via metrics, logs, and tracing.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize latency and throughput.
