Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is evolving its Site Reliability Engineering capabilities to strengthen reliability, observability, security, and operational excellence. As a Senior SRE, you will shape reliability foundations across platforms and partner with Architecture, Security, and Platform teams to ensure robust systems from day one.

You will engage with global teams, handle major incidents when needed, and mentor engineers to raise the bar on reliability practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on SRE/Platform Engineering or related roles.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Datadog, and observability tooling.
• Experience with Azure services and cloud security principles.
• Knowledge of SRE principles including SLOs, error budgets, and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment of SRE foundations for new projects and environments.
• Define and champion observability standards across metrics, logs, traces, and SLIs/SLOs.
• Design and evolve monitoring and alerting solutions to improve visibility and reduce toil.
• Drive reliability improvements through incidents, performance tuning, and resilient patterns.
• Collaborate with Security to meet compliance, security, and risk requirements.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering standards and learning.
