Job summary

Salve.Inno Consulting is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own production reliability on AWS and Amazon EKS. The role emphasizes hands-on management of incidents, on-call rotations, and direct customer communication during escalations.

You will drive improvements in observability, automation, and disaster recovery while collaborating with software and platform teams to embed reliability across the development lifecycle. This is a fully remote, senior, hands‑on engineering position.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SRE with production ownership.
• Experience operating production environments on AWS and EKS.
• Kubernetes operations beyond deployment, including upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Participation in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Ownership of incident RCA and post-incident improvements.
• Experience with SLIs/SLOs, error budgets and alerting.
• Terraform/Terragrunt and IaC practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability and operational health of production services on AWS/EKS.
• Troubleshoot production Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades and scaling.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident management.
• Lead or contribute to P1/P2 incidents and postmortems.
• Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs and maintain runbooks.
• Build/maintain automation and IaC using Terraform/Terragrunt.
