Job summary

Cosm is seeking a Senior SRE to design, build, and maintain our operations center infrastructure. You will automate monitoring, support real-time telemetry, and ensure robust performance across on-prem and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in platform engineering or SRE, strong Grafana LGTM expertise, and hands-on AWS/Kubernetes experience. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a platform engineer, SRE, or similar role.
• Expert-level knowledge of the Grafana LGTM stack.
• Scripting: PowerShell & Bash; JavaScript/TypeScript is a bonus.
• Strong AWS experience including EKS; Kubernetes/microservice experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and alert: design and automate monitoring to ensure health and availability of the platform.
• Application monitoring: work with software teams to monitor apps and microservices.
• Infrastructure deployment: deploy/configure hardware and software for the platform (servers, networks, databases, monitoring).
• Documentation and training: create docs/diagrams/guides; train staff on usage.
• Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align observability architecture.
