Horizon3 is seeking a hands-on Senior or Staff Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability strategy, operating model, and engineering-wide standards that support our NodeZero platform. You will set technical direction, lead high-impact initiatives, and establish scalable production services across distributed environments.

Responsibilities include aligning across Infrastructure, product, and security; defining SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, dashboards, and runbooks; and shaping incident

Qualifications

• Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems in production environments.
• Reliability engineering, observability, incident management, and production operations knowledge.
• Experience establishing SLIs, SLOs, actionable alerts, observability, and service ownership.
• Backend development and automation to reduce toil and improve efficiency.
• Experience leading high-severity incidents and improving incident response programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for designs, runbooks, postmortems, and docs.

Responsabilités

• Own and evolve SRE strategy, operating model, and reliability standards aligned to business priorities.
• Lead cross-functional alignment to improve reliability and incident readiness.
• Define organization-wide service ownership, SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Drive adoption of observability standards across pipelines and platforms.
• Set dashboards, actionable alerting, runbooks, and escalation paths.
• Drive end-to-end complex cross-functional reliability initiatives.
• Raise the engineering-wide bar for incident management and on-call readiness.
• Shape the SRE function's growth, operating model, and tooling.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and design a sustainable on-call model.
