Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to own global platform reliability on AWS. You will design scalable, secure infrastructure, automate operations, and drive observability. The role emphasizes HIPAA/HITRUST compliance and incident leadership for 24x7 availability.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong Python/Go/Bash skills, and hands-on CloudFormation & AWS expertise. Strong collaboration with Core Engineering and regulatory teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience.
• 7+ years of Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Champion GitOps and IaC with CloudFormation; automate operations.
• Build telemetry with NewRelic, CloudWatch, OpenSearch to monitor health.
• Lead incident responses as Incident Manager and perform RCA.
• Support PHI data security and regulatory audits with encryption evidence.
