Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Analytics Delivery Engineering team. You will help build a robust, scalable Kubernetes platform and automation for Workday Federal deployments in GovCloud.

You’ll work across multiple teams, design CI/CD pipelines, and enhance observability to ensure reliable analytics services. As an SRE, you’ll implement infrastructure automation, monitor performance, and support production on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure experience in on-premises or cloud environments.
• Strong Kubernetes concepts, architecture, and administration.
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions for the Kubernetes platform and automation.
• Build and maintain core platform components for high availability, scalability and security.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Terraform and Argo CD.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve problems.
• Ensure security practices and compliance for the platform.
