Job summary

Harvey is seeking a Software Engineer on the Site Reliability team in San Francisco, aiming to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our AI-powered platform. You will own monitoring, incident response, and automation to keep our services fast, secure, and highly available as we scale across 50+ regions.

You'll collaborate across product and engineering teams, implement IaC and observability tooling, and drive improvements in capacity planning, cost optimization, and operational

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience.
• Expertise with IaC tools (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Familiarity with observability and incident response tools.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, Go or similar languages.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Kubernetes, containers, networking, databases, and cloud security.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage monitoring and infrastructure resources across 50+ regions.
• Lead incident management, postmortems, root cause analyses, and drive improvements.
• Automate operational tasks and workflows for capacity planning and safe data access.
• Collaborate across teams to drive reliability, security, and compliance.
• Optimize infrastructure costs through capacity planning and build-versus-buy decisions.
