Job summary

Tradeweb Technologies in the United States is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the ICD group, focusing on reliability of our global platform and AWS infrastructure.

This fully remote role supports scalable, highly reliable software with occasional travel to the Jersey City hub for collaboration. The role requires 6+ years in tech operations and 4+ years as an SRE, with strong Python, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Pulumi, and AWS expertise.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technology operations and engineering experience (SRE/related).
• 4+ years scripting/coding in Python or similar.
• 4+ years as an SRE or similar role with public cloud (AWS) and cloud-native tech.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to an Agile-Agentic planning and iterative improvements of the platform.
• Prioritize security in all aspects of work and threat modeling.
• Develop IaC automation to deliver a highly available platform.
• Maintain monitoring tools and analyze system performance.
• Triage incidents, own remediation with service teams and drive resolution.
• Collaborate with R&D to influence architecture decisions affecting reliability.
• Define observability and SLOs to meet reliability standards.
• Fulfill on-call duties to ensure high system availability.
