Job summary
WPP Media is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to own production stability, observability, and system health for a mission-critical governance platform running on Google Cloud. You will implement fixes in Python, lead root cause analysis, and drive reliability improvements across distributed systems.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of site reliability or DevOps experience.

- Hands-on experience with GCP services.

- Strong Python and Bash scripting.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in GKE.

- Exposure to Terraform and IaC practices.

- Strong incident, problem, and change management.
Responsibilities
- Own production stability and observability for a mission‑critical campaign governance and compliance platform running on GCP.

- Define observability strategy with GCP tools.
- 3
- Lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
- 4
- Diagnose complex production issues across layers.
- 5
- Read and patch Python production code.
- 6
- Monitor data flows and compliance reporting.

- Automate manual support and maintain runbooks.

- Provide technical leadership to L2+ support squad.

- Collaborate with Product/Engineering for risk and roadmap decisions.
