Job summary

Bitwarden is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer - FedRAMP to own and operate Bitwarden Gov infrastructure across multiple cloud providers, focusing on security, reliability, and scalable operations in a FedRAMP compliant environment.

This remote US role requires citizenship and on-call coverage; you will design, implement and mature monitoring, incident response, and automation using Kubernetes, Terraform, Pulumi, and GitOps practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with FedRAMP (Moderate/High levels).
• Production experience with incident response and on‑call rotations.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking and traffic management.
• Experience with multi‑region deployments in AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Kubernetes experience (Managed Kubernetes, Helm, kubectl, kOps).

Responsibilities

• Own Bitwarden Gov cloud infrastructure with focus on security, reliability, and quality.
• Evaluate and improve reliability, security, availability, scalability, and cost management.
• Implement site reliability tools, monitoring, and observability across Gov cloud environments.
• Respond to outages and participate in 24x7 support with on-call rotation.
• Design architectures and operating procedures at scale.
• Contribute to incident management and cross‑functional collaboration.
