Job summary

Bitwarden is seeking an IT Manager to own the evaluation, deployment, and operationalization of tools across a distributed, remote workforce. You’ll manage devices, software, procurement, and access, while supporting cloud infrastructure, security, and compliance initiatives.

This is an all‑remote, US‑based role with no visa sponsorship. You’ll collaborate with security, IT, and SecOps teams to strengthen Bitwarden’s technology estate and enable global product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the digital employee onboarding experience from equipment orders to provisioning.
• Manage software and hardware vendors, research, sourcing, and procurement.
• Maintain the Bitwarden inventory of laptops and licensed software distributed globally.
• Serve as the go-to person for access, configuration, and support of tools used across the company including SaaS and deployed systems.
• Assist with the management and transformation of our cloud infrastructure and networks.
• Manage VPNs and other restricted access systems.
• Assist with business and technology experiments involving new technologies, tools, processes and techniques.
• Help manage and improve upon various Bitwarden compliance frameworks and certifications such as SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Contribute to the presence of Bitwarden in the SecOps domain and community at large through forums, conferences, articles, and customer support
