This hands-on, engineering-heavy role focuses on reliability, scalability, and architectural excellence across a large codebase. You will drive architectural decisions, supervisor senior engineers, and advance observability, SLOs, and automation across multiple cloud providers and distributed

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating distributed systems at scale.
• 5+ years developing microservices for a SaaS product in modern backend languages.
• Proven experience scaling backend systems and understanding of concurrency and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive multi-year reliability roadmaps with engineering leadership.
• Design and implement architectural improvements to services and libraries.
• Develop and maintain services meeting aggressive reliability and scalability demands.
• Lead performance and cost optimization across large-scale distributed systems.
• Mentor engineers and promote architectural standards across the org.
