Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a senior AVP-level Infrastructure Engineer for a remote full-time role in the United States. You will build and automate cloud environments, manage Kubernetes clusters, and drive incident response and remediation.

Strong Python scripting, Terraform/CloudFormation, and AWS expertise are required. You will mentor teammates, collaborate with Delivery and Platform teams, and ensure security, monitoring, and efficient pipelines across multiple AWS services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 8+ years of industry/relevant experience, 2+ years at AVP level
• 8+ years of related experience
• Experience with AWS services such as RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, EKS
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
• Scripting/Automation using Python
• Terraform or CloudFormation
• GIT platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
• Kubernetes cluster management
• Monitoring/Alerting with CloudWatch/Datadog
• ITIL methodologies in some areas
• Java or .NET programming experience
• Team collaboration experience
• Strong communication and mentoring skills
• Adaptability in changing environments
• Self-motivation and focus
• Dashboarding/reporting experience

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain new infrastructure environments and capabilities
• Collaborate with Delivery teams to meet client requirements
• Drive automation to remove toil and enhance efficiency
• Develop and maintain monitoring tools, alerts, dashboards
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and availability issues
• Implement patching and vulnerability remediation policies
• Manage IAM roles and conduct security audits
• Build and administer automated pipelines
• Administer source code repositories in ADO
• Mentor and coach team members
• Participate in incident response and post-incident analyses
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager
