Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our remote team. You will help design and operate AWS-based environments, drive automation, and implement monitoring and security practices across product engineering and SRE teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Delivery, Platform, and Capability groups, along with mentoring teammates and participating in incident response. Strong AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and scripting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8 years of related experience, typically with 2 years in an AVP level role or external equivalent.
• 8 years of industry and/or relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with AWS Services such as RDS-MSQL, Elastic Beanstalk, EKS.
• Experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies.
• Experience in Scripting and Automation using Python or similar.
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Git platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
• Experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
• Monitoring/alerting with CloudWatch and Datadog.
• ITIL methodologies in some areas.
• Programming with Java or .Net.
• Strong communication, mentoring skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain new infrastructure environments and capabilities.
• Collaborate with Delivery teams to understand and meet client requirements.
• Develop automation solutions to remove toil and improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain monitoring tools, alerts, and dashboards.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and availability issues.
• Implement patching and vulnerability remediation policies.
• Manage IAM roles and conduct basic security audits.
• Build and administer automated pipelines.
• Administer source code repositories in ADO.
• Mentor and coach team members.
• Participate in incident response and post-incident analyses.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
