Job summary

Blackpoint Cyber seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. You will work across AWS, Kubernetes, data streaming, and observability to keep systems reliable, secure, and scalable, partnering with engineering teams to drive reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Senior Site Reliability Engineer role with cloud infra and automation.
• Terraform and Terragrunt for enterprise-scale deployments.
• Hands-on AWS design, security, scalability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure using IaC for automated cloud provisioning.
• Own and optimize AWS cloud environment for cost, security, and high availability.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters (Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, Kustomize) to support CD and IaC practices.
• Administer and scale data streaming (Confluent Cloud, Apache Kafka) for enterprise data processing.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Redis for caching and real‑time processing.
• Implement monitoring/alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager) for reliability.
• Enable controlled feature deployments with LaunchDarkly/PostHog.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new services into existing infra.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues to maximize uptime.
• Drive automation tooling and engineering processes for scalability and reliability.
• Stay current on SRE trends and best practices.
