Job summary

Accelerant is building a high-scale financial data platform for premium, claims, and payments data. You will drive reliability across Velocity, Snowflake, Fabric, MuleSoft, and D365, shaping SLOs, alerts, and data integrity.

The role emphasizes autonomous decision-making, incident leadership, and AI-assisted operational tooling to keep the platform healthy as we grow. You will build and scale the observability stack, improve deployment resilience, and partner with the AI platform team to deploy

Qualifications

Experience designing, operating, and scaling reliable production systems.
Hands-on with modern observability tooling including Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
Strong background defining SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets with business KPIs.
Experience operating data platforms (Snowflake, Fabric) and enterprise integration layers (MuleSoft) with D365.
Incident management experience with Incident.io and ServiceNow; on-call and postmortem practices.
Hands-on with AI tooling such as Cursor and building AI agents for ops.

Responsibilities

Own the reliability roadmap end to end with define → emit → ingest → dashboard → alert metric pipelines.
Harden the financial data platform for enterprise-grade availability and performance.
Extend instrumentation across Velocity, Red Panda, MuleSoft, Snowflake, Fabric, and AWS.
Implement scalable incident and postmortem processes with governed alert routing.
Scale automation, data lineage, and auto-remediation to reduce toil.
Build and deploy specialized SRE agents using Cursor AI on the org's AI fabric.
Collaborate with the AI platform team to ensure agents are discoverable and reusable.
