Job summary

Sight Machine is seeking a senior Cloud Infrastructure IC to lead reliability, automation, and scale across our platform. You will drive IaC, CI/CD, observability and operate agentic AI systems, mentoring engineers and guiding architectural decisions while staying hands-on with code and incidents.

You will work across Kubernetes, cloud resources, and non-deterministic workloads, influencing cross-team reliability and developing runbooks for automation and incident response.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing, building, or operating Kubernetes/Docker in public clouds, production-scale environments.
• 10+ years coding experience (Python, Go, Java or similar) with tools used by engineers.
• 10+ years with IaC and CI/CD tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, FluxCD, Jenkins/GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Champion AI-first engineering mindset and automate tooling with equal quality as production systems.
• Lead reliability reviews for new services before production and drive postmortems to systemic fixes.
• Design, build and operate infrastructure for agentic AI workloads and LLM gateway routing.
• Architect monitoring, alerting and observability for critical AI-driven services.
