Job summary

ThoughtSpot, a Mountain View-based AI-powered analytics platform, is seeking a Systems Reliability Engineer (Technical Support) to join the SRE team. You will be the bridge between customers and engineering, applying AI/ML-driven observability to deliver timely updates and proactive improvements.

You will maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure, respond to incidents, and collaborate with engineering to strengthen reliability while communicating effectively with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex Linux systems and managing virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customer-facing technical issues related to ThoughtSpot SaaS.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ThoughtSpot cloud infrastructure; develop automation to improve reliability.
• Lead incident reviews and perform root cause analyses for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve debuggability, availability, and performance.
• Translate complex technical issues into clear updates for diverse audiences.
