Job summary
CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Database Administrator in Charlotte, NC to administer all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server and support database infrastructure for federal contracts. You will manage replication, backups, performance tuning, SSRS/SSAS/SSIS, and virtualization with VMware/ Hyper-V, while aligning with security and SDLC processes.
The role requires 5+ years of SQL Server experience and a proactive, collaborative approach within a government-focused
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience directly with SQL Server Database Administration.
- Experience with replication, backups, capacity planning, SSRS/SSAS/SSIS.
- Familiarity with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.
- Experience with source control, bug tracking, SDLC, and relational databases integration.
Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft SQL Server including Replication, Backup/Restore, Capacity Planning, SSRS/SSAS/SSIS.
- Migrate databases across SQL Server versions and maintain performance.
- Provide general systems administration support for hardware and software.
- Implement and support SQL performance monitoring and tuning.
