Job summary
AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation is seeking a senior, hands-on SQL Server DBA to lead reliability and performance efforts across a high‑volume SQL Server environment. You will own observability, incident response, and durable solutions to keep the platform fast, resilient, and scalable.
The role combines on‑prem and Azure responsibilities with 24x7 support duties. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of DBA experience, deep tuning expertise, HA/DR experience, and strong collaboration with development
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA
- Experience with HA/DR options for SQL Server
- Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models
Responsibilities
- Manage SQL Server databases on Prem and in Azure environments (IaaS/PaaS)
- Monitor system health and performance
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve issues in real time
- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance and deployments
- Refine and automate regular processes and document changes
