Requirements include 7+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server versions 2016, 2019, and 2022, strong T-SQL and indexing skills, Always On availability, backups and DR, plus Azure SQL Database/Managed Instance and PowerShell scripting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience.
• Experience with SQL Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Strong skills in T-SQL, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in Always On Availability Groups, clustering, backup and recovery.
• Knowledge of Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• PowerShell scripting, SQL Server Agent, and automation.
• Security, migrations, upgrades, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain SQL Server databases.
• Ensure availability, security, and optimal performance.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Perform upgrades, migrations, patching, and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide production support.
• Collaborate with developers, infra, and security teams.
• Maintain documentation and compliance standards.
• Monitor health, performance, backups, jobs, and alerts.
• Respond to incidents and support deployments.
