AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation is seeking a senior SQL Server DBA to lead reliability and performance efforts for a high-volume SQL Server environment. You will own observability, incident response, and durable improvements to keep the platform fast and resilient under load.

You will work across on-prem and Azure deployments, collaborating with developers to tune queries, implement HA/DR, and automate maintenance. This role demands strong troubleshooting, ownership, and communication skills.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Experience with SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS administration.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization.
• Database stored procedures, triggers, and index tuning.
• Backups, restores, and recovery models.
• HA and DR options for SQL Server.
• Support of a development team in a production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting with SQL Server tools.
• Failover Clustering (Always On: FCI & AG) design and configuration.
• Azure SQL experience preferred.
• 3rd party SQL tools familiarity (Foglight, Redgate) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage SQL Server databases on Prem and in Azure (IaaS/PaaS).
• Define short- and long-term strategic plans for database infrastructure.
• Define policies, procedures, and maintenance plans for DBMS administration.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
• Monitor system health and performance.
• Ensure high performance, availability, sustainability and security.
• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
• Refine and automate regular processes and document changes.
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
• Provide 24x7 support for production systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and after-hours deployment activities.
• Off-hours production support (call rotation) required.
