Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 5+ years hands-on experience managing enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments (on‑premises and Azure).
- Strong knowledge of SSMS, T‑SQL, and performance tuning.
- Experience implementing HA/DR solutions and RBAC security.
- Proficiency with SSIS and ETL workflows.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade SQL Server instances across production, staging, and development environments.
- Monitor system health, optimize performance, and resolve blocking/deadlocks.
- Design, test, and implement backup and disaster recovery policies including HA/DR.
- Collaborate with IT development staff to design DBMS architecture and data exchange standards.
- Document installation, security, migration processes, and best practices for teams.
- Provide Tier III support and mentor junior staff.
