Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC is seeking a Security Engineer - SQL to maintain and optimize database performance across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments, with emphasis on security and compliance. You will work with SSMS, PowerShell, ServiceNow, and Archer configurations, contribute to upgrade plans, patch management, and vulnerability remediation, and participate in 24/7 on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 8+ years of information security work experience.
• 5+ years administration, operations and maintenance (O&M) of Microsoft SQL (2016-2019) and other databases (DB2, Oracle, Mongo, MySQL).
• Experience supporting enterprise GRC platforms and RSA Archer.
• Knowledge of security hardening frameworks (CIS, NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs).
• Willingness to participate in 24/7/365 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain database performance and apply new releases and maintenance.
• Manage SQL Server environments in Dev, Test, UAT and Production in GRC platforms.
• Ensure database security and compliance per policies.
• Collaborate with application admins to design, implement, and test changes.
• Code efficient SQL statements and optimize indexes for performance.
• Plan upgrades with admins and developers, including rollback procedures.
• Implement secure access controls, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain Archer configurations and alignment with RSA Archer standards.
