Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC is seeking a Security Engineer - SQL to manage SQL Server environments across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production GRC platforms. The role emphasizes security policy alignment, vulnerability remediation, and collaboration with platform teams.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in information security and database administration, with hands-on experience in SQL Server, Archer, and enterprise GRC deployments. This is a full-time on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of information security and database administration experience.
• Experience with SQL Server 2016–2019 in enterprise environments and GRC platforms.
• Knowledge of DISA STIGs, NIST controls, and security hardening.
• Ability to participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains database performance and applies releases; handles maintenance and OS evaluations as needed.
• Manages SQL Server environments for Dev, Test, UAT, and Production GRC instances.
• Implements secure access controls, patching, and vulnerability remediation per policy.
• Designs upgrade strategies with system admins and developers; includes rollback steps.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and mentors junior staff.
