The ideal candidate has 7+ years of DBA experience, expertise in AlwaysOn, clustering, replication, and T-SQL tuning, plus hands-on experience with Ansible automation and IaC practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA with emphasis on high-availability solutions.
• Experience with Ansible automation is a requirement.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2019 and newer), with clustering, AlwaysOn Availability Groups, and replication.
• Strong skills in T-SQL scripting, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and support SQL Server databases across environments to ensure availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement and configure high-availability solutions (AlwaysOn, clustering, replication).
• Oversee backups, restores, and failover strategies.
