Summit Fire & Security LLC is seeking a Sr. Designer to autonomously complete project designs and submittals for fire protection systems in our Las Vegas operation. The role requires deep familiarity with relevant NFPA codes, hydraulic calculations, and AHJ coordination.

The candidate should have 5–10 years of sprinkler design experience, NICET II/III or state certification and a strong math/engineering background. CAD proficiency, safety compliance, and field-support skills are essential.

Competenze

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• NICET II or NICET III and/or state required certification required; equivalent experience considered if pursuing NICET education.

Mansioni

• Design automatic sprinkler systems (wet/dry/pre-action/deluge) including pumps, tanks and related components.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for each design.
• Prepare submittal packages to AHJs and correspondence for design approval.
• Coordinate with contractor and participate in design kick-off meetings.
• Prepare fabrication lists and requisition materials; assist field personnel with installation issues.
• Submit final job close-out documents after acceptance testing.
• Maintain safety compliance per company programs.
