Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Cisco Splunk Solutions Engineer (SE) to become the technical authority on Splunk deployments. You will own the technical decision and guide architecture, working with customers and Cisco teams to win strategic opportunities.

You will mentor peers, shape product direction, and design high-impact, single-architecture solutions for complex customer requirements. A strong background in security, observability, or network management is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a pre-sales engineering or similar deep technical role
• 5+ years of broad and deep technical knowledge across Security, observability, event, or network management

Responsibilities

• Own and win the technical decision; lead breakdown sessions, bake-offs, and proofs-of-value.
• Serve as the go-to authority; communicate vision and technical details to engineers and executives.
• Architect and validate single-architecture solutions for complex requirements with technical excellence.
• Partner with Cisco ecosystem and Account Managers to win strategic opportunities.
• Mentor and enable the broader SE community; develop protocols to elevate the organization.
• Influence product direction with real-world insights for roadmap and future products.
