Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Processing Manager to lead a large-scale spirits processing operation in Bardstown, KY, overseeing nine processing areas, 200+ tanks, and a team of supervisors, coordinators, and technicians. You will ensure production, safety, quality, and cost objectives while partnering with the plant lab and R&D to scale new formulas.

Responsibilities include managing batching, filtering, bulk spirits, inventory, and coordinating interplant shipments and the Personalized Barrel Program,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required.
• At least five years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, complex manufacturing or processing environment.
• Supervisory experience within batching, processing, beverage production, or a related operation.
• Working knowledge of processing and batching activities, including production efficiency, quality controls, inventory management, and loss reduction.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across nine processing areas, ensuring production needs are met with safety, quality, regulatory, budgetary, and customer requirements.
• Oversee batching, filtering, bulk spirits management, interplant shipments, and Personalized Barrel Program orders for accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Manage liquid, flavor, and ingredient inventory to improve flow, shelf life, and reduce waste.
• Partner with the plant laboratory and R&D to develop, scale, and deliver new formulas.
• Develop Supervisors and staff through coaching, performance management, and safety/quality practices.
