Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Processing Technician Lead to guide the daily operations of the Processing Department, ensuring blending, batching, filtering, and preparation meet schedules with safety and quality in mind.

You’ll lead a team of Processing Technicians, oversee bulk receiving and inventory, and troubleshoot issues while driving continuous improvement and compliance with GMPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in processing, batching, blending, or related production.
• Experience leading and training employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, safety procedures, and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily processing activities (blending, batching, filtering, transferring, preparation).
• Coordinate to meet production schedules while maintaining safety and quality.
• Oversee batch approvals, bulk receiving, inventory management, and documentation.
• Provide day-to-day direction, training, and support to technicians and temporary staff.
• Identify and resolve processing, equipment, quality, and production issues; support continuous improvement.
