Yoh Heathcare is seeking a Senior Speech-Language Specialist to join our client in New Brunswick, NJ. You will assess and support students with communication, feeding, and social needs, delivering tailored interventions in a school setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, teachers, and specialists, participation in IEPs, and on-site service delivery with opportunities to lead by example in an active educational environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with students, especially autism.
• Current NJ SLP certification or eligibility.
• NJ Department of Education Speech Language Specialist Standard Certificate.
• Valid NJ State Licensure in Speech Pathology.
• On-site work in a busy educational environment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, feeding, and social skills.
• Analyze diagnostic tests, observations, and input from families and educators to inform personalized treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and adjust therapeutic interventions in individual and small group settings.
• Monitor student progress and ensure interventions align with educational goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences.
• Train staff and families to ensure consistency of goals across settings.
• Support behavioral programs and engage in crisis management when necessary.
