Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Staff Speech Language Pathologist II to provide expert evaluations and comprehensive therapy for adults and geriatrics, with potential pediatric exposure. Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 months licensed therapy experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • CPR certification or eligibility.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Speech Language Pathology evaluations and administer tests to determine functional limitations.
  • Establish short and long-term therapeutic goals with referring practitioner.
  • Develop and adjust therapy plans based on patient progress.
  • Provide direct patient care and supervise support staff as appropriate.
  • Complete discharge planning and maintain patient records.
