ECS Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Specification Writer III to join our Southwest Building Science + Infrastructure in San Antonio, TX. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to research materials, develop detailed specifications, and ensure alignment with project requirements, industry standards, and applicable codes.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in architecture, construction management, engineering technology, building science or related field.
• 8+ years of architectural and specification writing experience.
• CSI membership; CDT/CCS/LEED/AP or licensure is a plus.

Mansioni

• Lead teams in researching product materials and manufacturers for architectural projects.
• Coordinate and review specification documentation to align with project requirements and codes.
• Prepare and review Division 01 General Requirements sections.
• Write and edit project specifications and ensure conformance with MasterFormat and industry standards.
• Educate design teams on product selection and design considerations.
• Maintain awareness of evolving building technology and code changes.
