Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in architecture, construction management, engineering technology, building science or related field.
• 8+ years of architectural and specification writing experience.
• CSI membership; CDT/CCS/LEED/AP or licensure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in researching product materials and manufacturers for architectural projects.
• Coordinate and review specification documentation to align with project requirements and codes.
• Prepare and review Division 01 General Requirements sections.
• Write and edit project specifications and ensure conformance with MasterFormat and industry standards.
• Educate design teams on product selection and design considerations.
• Maintain awareness of evolving building technology and code changes.
