Job summary

Amgen is recruiting a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative in New Jersey to cover Trenton, Long Branch, and Neptune. This role involves providing clinical product knowledge to medical professionals and navigating payer environments. Relocation is not offered.

You will work to implement marketing strategy, promote Amgen products, and meet sales targets as directed by the District Manager.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications for Specialty Representative listed above, including degree or equivalent sales experience.
• Senior role requires additional clinical or healthcare experience along with a degree.
• Experience in pharma/biotech or related medical sales preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead territory sales by delivering branded messages and conducting educational programs; achieve targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensure product access, and address reimbursements and contracts.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activity, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative.
• Demonstrate passion for products and maintain brand focus throughout the sales cycle.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Associate's degree + 4 years sales experience

High school diploma/GED + 6 years sales experience

Bachelor's degree + 3 years sales/clinical experience (Senior)

Associate degree + 6 years sales/clinical experience (Senior)

High school diploma/GED + 8 years sales/clinical experience (Senior)
