Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to join our sales team in the Northeast US territory covering Elizabeth, Woodbridge, and New Brunswick. You will be the primary customer contact, delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and navigating the payer environment.

In this role, you will implement marketing strategies, promote Amgen products, and collaborate with the District Manager to achieve sales targets.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications for Specialty Representative require a Bachelor's Degree, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of sales experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of sales experience.
• Basic Qualifications for Senior Specialty Representative require a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of sales or clinical healthcare experience, or an Associate degree with 6 years of sales/clinical experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 8 years of sales/clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications include experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/specialty sales, leadership under pressure, and product/hospital sales in relevant therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and communicate clinical benefits.
• Lead territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting programs, and achieving/exceeding sales targets in-person and virtually.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory analysis; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialist.
• Demonstrate passion for products and maintain brand focus throughout the sales cycle.
