Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, promote Amgen products, and navigate payer environments. You will execute marketing strategies, drive territory sales, and build lasting relationships with accounts to ensure access and optimal patient care.

You will be the primary customer contact, delivering on education programs, and coordinating with a district manager to meet or exceed sales targets.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications listed for Specialty Representative include a Bachelor's Degree, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of Sales experience, or a High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of sales or clinical experience in healthcare, or an Associate degree with 6 years of sales or clinical experience, or a High school diploma with 8 years of sales or clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications emphasize sales, marketing and/or clinical experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare sectors, plus strong relationship-building, local market knowledge, and a Life Sciences or Business degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and discuss clinical benefits.
• Deliver branded sales messages and plan programs to achieve sales targets.
• Develop relationships to manage accounts, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn from others.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products throughout the sales cycle and uphold company values.
