Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience communicating insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility.
• Experience with commercial and government prescription benefits and manufacturer copay programs preferred.
• Pharmacy technician registration or CPhT certification may be preferred when applicable.
• Any activity requiring pharmacy credentialed personnel must be performed by credentialed staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient financial counseling & advocacy.
• Coordinate financial assistance and affordability management.
• Coordinate specialty pharmacy access for patients.
• Ensure documentation, compliance and quality in processes.
• Serve as subject-matter expert and collaborate cross-functionally.
