Qualifications

• Requires 15+ years of experience in specialty mechanical equipment
• B.S. in Engineering from ABET-accredited program
• Knowledge of machine design, components, and controls
• Experience managing scope, schedule, and budget of projects
• Experience in ISO 9000 or NQA-1 quality systems
• US citizenship required
• DOE Q clearance preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of specialty mechanical equipment
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and project requirements
• Coordinate with management and clients to communicate complex concepts
• Support multiple Nuclear Projects Oak Ridge initiatives
