Coastal Alabama Community College seeks a Senior Specialist to provide technical support for simulation labs, maintain equipment, and assist faculty and learners in a high-fidelity educational setting.
The role covers software/hardware upkeep, lab set‑up, and collaboration with IT and vendors. Candidates should have an associate degree with IT/simulation experience and relevant CHSE/CHSOS credentials.
The Senior Specialist provides technical support for all simulation laboratory operations to support the educational objectives and missions of the Simulation Program, Division of Nursing and Allied Health, and College. Primary responsibilities include preparation, maintenance, and repair of simulation laboratory equipment and technology (software and hardware), task trainers, and audiovisual and multimedia peripherals; assisting with set up and clean-up of simulation learning activities; providing assistance as needed to faculty and learners in the simulation environment; and other assigned duties.
Appropriate placement on the Alabama Community College System salary schedule E2-3.
